DBSync’s SOC 2 Type II audit was based on the Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, and Confidentiality

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. November 21, 2019

DBSync, the leading provider of data integration solutions for Cloud Applications, today announced it has completed its Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type II audit.

SOC 2 is one of the more common compliance requirements technology companies must meet today. Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust service principles”—security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. A SOC 2 Type II report is issued by independent accounting firms and focuses specifically on the operating effectiveness of a service organization.

The completion of this audit is the latest step in DBSync’s ongoing commitment to ensure the highest standard of info security and robust controls in place that would provide the security and availability of our systems for a sustained period of time.

“The SOC 2 Type II compliance demonstrates the commitment by DBSync to protect customer and partner data with the highest possible degree of control and transparency,” said Rajeev Gupta, DBSync CEO. “Millions of financial records move through our network every day and this compliance should reassure that we’re committed to provide highly secure environment for all the dada.”

DBSync has demonstrated commitment to data security with its SOC 2 Type II compliance by establishing and following practices and procedures for maintaining service availability, protecting against unauthorized access, and protecting the confidential information of its customers and partners.

DBSync has completed its SOC 2 Type II audit for DBSync CloudWorflow, DBSync CloudReplication and the Product Development, Support & Maintenance and Professional Services on the following Trust Services Criteria:
